The history of the Kemerovo circus began in 1917, when traveling artists began to come to the city. They were acrobats, magicians, trainers with trained animals. The first building, even though it was wooden, stood for more than 40 years! And in 1973, a capital and modern circus building was rebuilt in its place, designed by architect Segal A.L. It was richly decorated inside and out, and the 2,000-seat hall was equipped with the best sound and lighting technology.
